Nestled in the Tramuntana Mountains this traditional village house was a passion project for Anna and her first opportunity to tackle a total house renovation.
Drawing on many years experience working as a decorative artist and advising clients on colour schemes for residential homes, Anna was able to apply her knowledge of interior design and colour sensitivity to the project. Using the natural palette from the surrounding landscape creates a seamless transition, and a holistic approach for a calm and stylish interior space to be enjoyed in every season.

Anna worked on the renovation with a local architect and builder. The narrow house, petite and over 100 years old, created a number of design challenges.
A larger kitchen was fitted, space maximised by built in seating, storage areas constructed wherever possible and an extra bathroom added. Creating enough room on the terrace for an outdoor kitchen, hiding new electrics and plumbing, fitting air conditioning and restoring the original chimney were also part of the puzzle.
Anna’s use of traditional methods, local and natural materials and her fastidious attention to detail have resulted in a snug, intimate home with an elegant finish.
